A daily practice from the Gospels

Practise what Jesus taught, one day at a time.

Each day, one teaching of Jesus becomes one real thing to do. Read the short passage, choose how far to go, live it, and look back on it in private.

Christian Practice is not in the App Store yet. We will write when it is ready, and now and then on how it is going. Unsubscribe at any time.

Each day you keep lights a window.
The Today screen: the day's painting over the altar of a church, today's practice, and the week of windows.

The practice

One teaching. One real thing to do today.

Not a reading plan. Every practice comes from the words of Jesus in the Gospels and ends with something you actually do.

Hear: the words of Jesus for today. Understand: the setting and what it meant then. Do: choose how far to go today. A kept day: another window lit.
  1. I

    Hear

Begin with the words themselves: a few lines from the Gospels, short enough to read in a breath, with the place they come from.

  2. II

    Understand

Where Jesus was, who was listening, and what it meant to them, in plain words. Why it can sound hard today, and the freedom inside it.

  3. III

    Do

One concrete thing to do today, and you choose how far to go. Where a practice touches a hard relationship, the app always offers a safe way to keep it.

    Reflect

Look back in private. What you write stays on your phone. Then another window is lit, and the week fills with light.

Prayer

Step into a quiet church, and pray.

From thirty seconds to five minutes, with words to follow, line by line, so you are never left wondering what to say. The painting stands over the altar, the candles are lit, and the altar wears the colour of the Church's day.

Pray now

Guided prayers and breath prayers

Gratitude, forgiveness, a hard day, someone you love. Follow the prayer line by line, or breathe a single line in and out.

Pray together

The same moment, wherever you are

Set a time and share the invitation. Friends can join from a link, even without an account. No profiles, no comments: only a lit window for each person praying with you.

Hours of prayer

A bell at the hours you choose

Morning, midday, evening, night, or an hour of your own. It calls with a church bell, your own recorded voice, or an alarm, and opens a short prayer for that hour.

Paths

Go deeper, a few days at a time.

Guided paths through one theme, a day at a time, each day one teaching and one practice. Each path names where it leads next, and you can walk one together with friends.

Those who lived it

Walk five days with the people of faith.

Twenty-four lives, from the first witnesses to our own century. Each has a page that reads like a small book: their story, their words, and a five-day walk. Choose one as your companion, and a word of theirs meets you each day.

The Calendar: the year as a rose window in the colours of the seasons, and the days you remember.

The calendar

The year as a rose window.

Every season has its colour, and the altar in the app wears it. The feasts of your country and your tradition are there, with the days you choose to remember.

  • Thirty-nine countries, from Portugal and Brazil to the Philippines and Nigeria, and the Orthodox year.
  • A new season, welcomed once: a word on it, a path for it, and its wallpaper.
  • Your year: twelve windows, one a month, lit by the days you kept. Private.

Through the day

On your Home Screen, on your wrist, in your messages.

Share as a card

Send a practice or a prayer to someone as a card with its painting, or keep it for yourself.

Widgets

Today's practice and your week of lit windows on the Home Screen, the Lock Screen, and by the bed at night.

Apple Watch

The practice and the season on your wrist, in step with your phone.

Sunday's week in review

On Sunday, the week's windows, the practices you kept, and one line to carry into the next week.

Reminders that carry the day

The morning reminder names the day's real practice. In the evening, answer from the Lock Screen: I did it, I tried, or not today.

Wallpapers

The season's painting behind your clock, composed to sit with your widgets.

Together

Walk a week together, even when you are apart.

Friends in different cities, a family, a small group. One of you chooses a path and shares a link. Everyone walks the same practices that week, each in their own day, and you see one another's days as they are kept. Nothing anyone writes is shared.

How a week together works

Kept in private

Your prayer life is not a product.

What you write stays on your phone

Your reflections and private intentions are never sent to our servers.

No ads, no tracking

We do not sell your data or follow you across other apps and websites.

Nothing to perform

No public profiles, rankings or feeds. In a shared prayer, others see only how many are present. Only a group you choose to join sees your name and your days.

Read the privacy policy

In nine languages

In the language you pray in.

Come and see
